George Strait has come down with a case of Laryngitis which prevented him from performing any of his three shows scheduled for this weekend. The Hall of Fame member was struck by the vocal problems on Thursday evening while getting ready to perform in Jacksonville, Fl. The show was set up and ready to go so Sarah Johns and Little Big Town both performed before a great and appreciative crowd after being notified that George would have to reschedule.
The Texas singer went on to Columbia, SC in hopes of performing Friday night, but after trying to sing during the day, the disappointed singer determined that he would be unable to perform at all during the weekend.
The show in Baltimore, MD has been rescheduled for Friday, April 4th, while Columbia, SC and Jacksonville, Fl. were rescheduled for Saturday, April 5th and Sunday, April 6th respectively.
Tickets for all the original shows will be good for the rescheduled shows. |
